** Litigation Paralegal – Washington, D.C. (Hybrid -- 3 days in office) --- DIRECT HIRE **

** Key Responsibilities **

** Litigation & Document Support **

• Bluebook, cite check, and proofread briefs.
• Collect, organize, and produce documents in response to discovery requests.
• Maintain and analyze factual information in centralized databases.
• Prepare pleadings, discovery requests, and responses under attorney supervision.
• File and e‐file documents in federal and state courts.
• Draft and coordinate service of subpoenas.
• Maintain litigation files, including electronic databases and document repositories.
• Conduct docket research and track case calendars, deadlines, and filings.

** Case Management & Communication **

• Coordinate and prepare for depositions, including scheduling and materials.
• Communicate professionally with attorneys, clients, witnesses, court staff, and opposing counsel.
• Prepare and assemble paper filings, including binders, tables of contents, and delivery coordination.
• Assist with attorney court admissions and manage related documentation.
• Administer and troubleshoot software access and subscriptions for attorneys.

** Trial Preparation & Support **

• Prepare trial exhibits and assist with trial logistics and courtroom technology.
• Travel for hearings and trials, both in‐state and out‐of‐state, sometimes for extended periods.
• Work overtime as needed to meet litigation demands.

** Qualifications **

• ** Bachelor’s degree required; paralegal certificate preferred. **
• ** Minimum 3 years of litigation paralegal experience in a law firm. **
• ** Strong cite‐checking and trial preparation experience. **
• ** Knowledge of federal and state court rules, procedures, and trial practice. **
• Proficiency with Westlaw EDGE, PACER, and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Familiarity with NetDocuments, Litera, Centerbase, FiscalNote, Best Authority, and Adobe is a plus.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and manage sensitive information.
• Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast‐paced environment.
• Availability for travel and overtime as required.
