Assistant Controller

We are seeking a hands‑on Senior Accountant to support the Controller in a high-visibility role with opportunities for long‑term growth into a Controller position. This is a fully onsite position offering a base salary of $110-120k. This individual will serve as a senior resource for the AP/AR team, providing guidance and support while working in a collaborative, team-oriented environment. Key Responsibilities Support month-end close, including preparing and posting journal entries. Monitor cash flow and liquidity while assisting with financial reporting. Prepare weekly lender reporting related to AR and inventory financing. Record payroll journal entries from Paylocity into NetSuite and review payroll-related accounting. Build ad hoc reports and perform financial analysis using Excel and ERP data. Partner with AP/AR teams and provide day-to-day guidance as a senior team member. Support the Controller with reporting and special projects while taking on increasing responsibilities over time. Qualifications 5+ years of accounting experience. Intermediate to advanced Excel skills (Pivot Tables, XLOOKUP, formulas). ERP experience required; NetSuite preferred (SAP or Oracle experience is highly transferable). Strong understanding of cash flow, working capital, and month-end close. Detail-oriented with excellent follow-through and organizational skills. Basic payroll accounting knowledge (401(k), HSA, deductions) preferred. #J-18808-Ljbffr NTG Staffing
