Full job description Job Summary Join our vibrant team as a Server Assistant at La Estancia Private Club and Residences, where your enthusiasm and dedication will help create memorable experiences for our guests. In this energetic role, you will support the serving staff by maintaining a clean and organized dining environment, assisting with food and beverage service, and ensuring smooth operations throughout the dining experience. Responsibilities Assist servers by bussing tables promptly and efficiently, ensuring a clean and inviting dining space for guests Support food running duties by delivering dishes from the kitchen to the appropriate tables with care and accuracy Maintain cleanliness of dining areas through regular cleaning, sanitizing, and organizing of tables, chairs, and service stations Handle food safely by following proper food handling procedures during service and preparation support Assist with manual handling tasks such as heavy lifting of supplies, equipment, or linens while practicing safe lifting techniques Support kitchen staff with basic food preparation tasks when needed to ensure timely service Provide in-person customer service by greeting guests warmly, responding to their needs courteously, and supporting overall guest satisfaction Skills & Qualifications Previous experience in food service, restaurant, or hospitality environments is preferred but not required; enthusiasm to learn is key Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling practices Ability to perform manual handling tasks including heavy lifting while adhering to safe lifting practices Strong communication skills to effectively coordinate with team members and interact positively with guests Experience with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus but not mandatory; training will be provided Familiarity with banquet service, catering support, or hotel operations is advantageous A proactive attitude with excellent customer service skills and a passion for creating welcoming guest experiences This role is perfect for motivated individuals eager to grow within the hospitality industry.
