Registered Nurse - Oncology

Job Description

Job Summary:
Provide specialized nursing care to oncology patients within a clinic setting. This role involves delivering direct patient care, administering chemotherapy, and supporting patient education in a fast-paced oncology clinic environment.

Responsibilities:

• Assess patient conditions and develop individualized care plans.
• Administer chemotherapy and biotherapy treatments following safety protocols.
• Monitor patient responses to treatments and document clinical observations.
• Educate patients and their families on treatment procedures and side effects.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care.
• Maintain compliance with licensing, certification, and organizational policies.

Qualifications:

• Hold a Colorado RN license or compact license in good standing.
• Possess a current BLS (AHA Provider) certification.
• Have at least two years of oncology nursing experience.
• Demonstrate familiarity with chemotherapy and biotherapy administration.
• Exhibit strong clinical assessment and communication skills.
