As a Screener in a fast-paced logistics and distribution location, you will use screening equipment to help identify prohibited items and support a secure, efficient operation. You will interact professionally with employees and visitors, document screening-related activity, and communicate clearly with site personnel. Position Type Part Time Pay Rate $17.22 / Hour Job Schedule DayTime Wed 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM Thur 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM Sat 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM What You’ll Do Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location. Screen employees, visitors, contractors, packages, and/or vehicles in accordance with site procedures and access-control requirements. Operate screening equipment and conduct inspections of items entering or leaving the facility, following applicable protocols and reporting irregularities. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate site contacts and emergency responders as needed. Conduct regular and random patrols of designated areas, entry points, loading areas, and the business perimeter to help identify and report security-related concerns. Minimum Requirements Loss prevention experience is preferred. X-ray screening experience is preferred. Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred. Customer service experience is preferred. Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
