Opportunity:


RN - MedSurg


Job Details:


• 13-week contract with ASAP start date
• 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• 36 guaranteed hours per week
• Every weekend schedule required with every other holiday rotation
• Float to Emergency Department within competency required
• Can be low censused and placed on call; call back minimum is 2 hours
• 25-bed Med/Surg unit with patient ratios of 1:4 to 1:5 days and 1:6 nights
• Provide general nursing care primarily for geriatric patients with conditions such as CHF, COPD, and diabetes
• Minimum 2+ years of Med/Surg experience required
• Emergency Department experience preferred but not required
• Strong charting experience with Epic EMR, CareScape patient monitors, and Pyxis required
• Current Michigan RN license and AHA BLS required
• ACLS preferred but not required
• Associate Degree or Certificate required; Bachelor's Degree preferred
• Any colored scrubs permitted
• Candidates with both Med/Surg and ED experience are highly preferred

The facility operates a 25-bed Med/Surg unit alongside an Emergency Department, providing comprehensive inpatient and emergency care services to the local population.
