Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a high-volume Emergency Department with a 40+ bed unit
• Maintain a patient ratio of 4:1, including up to 3 rooms and 1 hall bed during peak volume
• Perform IV starts, phlebotomy, cardiac monitoring, and interpretation of cardiac rhythms
• Operate and utilize unit equipment including cardiac monitors, EKGs, ultrasound, Belmont Rapid Infuser, IO Drills, and Lifepak devices
• Document patient care accurately using Meditech EMR
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team including team leads, advanced paramedics, and support staff

Required Qualifications

• Active RN licensure (or compact license) valid in Missouri
• Minimum 1 year of Emergency Department experience as a Registered Nurse
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, TNCC, ENPC, and CPI
• Demonstrated adaptability in a fast-paced clinical environment
• Strong team collaboration skills

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience in a high-pressure or high-acuity emergency setting
• Background in a clinical role such as RN, Paramedic, or Emergency Department Technician prior to current position
• Outgoing, positive demeanor with the ability to perform effectively under pressure
