Job OpportunityWe are seeking experienced healthcare professionals for a travel position on a beautiful campus known for its supportive environment. This role involves working a night shift consisting of 4-12 hour shifts (7:00 PM - 7:30 AM) with a focus on labor and delivery, as well as post-partum care.Contract DetailsAcceptable Contract Length: 13 or 26 weeksHolidays: Request up to 2 major holidays off; only 1 of 3 holidays worked (Thanksgiving, Christmas/Eve, New Year's Eve)RequirementsQualified candidates must have:Minimum of 2 years of experienceEpic charting system experienceCertifications:BLS (Basic Life Support)FHM (Fetal Heart Monitoring)NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program)AWHONN IntermediateACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) - preferredPatient Care ResponsibilitiesThe role involves a variety of patient care responsibilities including:Administration of blood and blood productsAssistance with high-risk deliveriesCirculation for C-sectionsManagement of low-risk antepartum and labor/delivery patientsPost-operative and pre-operative careUnit DetailsThe unit operates with the following characteristics:Patient Ratio: 1:1 to 3Staffing includes 8 labor rooms and 4 triage roomsSpecial procedures include cardioversion, administering magnesium sulfate, and managing epidural and PCA pumpsTravelers may float to post-partum care and possibly labor and delivery units based on skill setAdditional InformationThe ideal candidate will embrace the opportunity to work in a collaborative environment, with a community focus including book clubs and group dinners.
