This is a true full-cycle Project Manager role, not a coordinator position: you will own cost control, scheduling, and customer and subcontractor communication across a portfolio of a dozen or more active projects at any given time, with a dedicated estimating and CAD support team behind you. It suits someone who has already run multiple concurrent commercial projects and is ready for ownership that matches their experience. Key Responsibilities

• Oversee all pre-construction activities to ensure a smooth project startup, including planning, initial resource allocation, and coordination with stakeholders.
• Monitor and control each project's budget, implementing cost-saving measures and tracking expenses throughout the project lifecycle.
• Coordinate with field operations, transportation, and management teams to build and maintain a comprehensive schedule that keeps milestones and overall completion on track.
• Serve as the main point of contact for customers and subcontractors, ensuring clear communication and expectations are met so that every project stays on time and within budget.
• Work closely with field operations to implement and enforce safety protocols, monitoring job site practices for compliance with regulatory and company standards.
• Maintain positive customer relationships through regular project updates, proactive communication, and attentive handling of concerns.
• Visit job sites as needed to assess progress, support quality control, and address on-site issues or challenges.
• Manage the project closeout process, ensuring deliverables are met, documentation is completed, and the work is handed over successfully.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Preconstruction Manager to support the team's ongoing goals.

Qualifications

• At least three years of full-cycle project management experience, including managing multiple concurrent projects at once, within project management, construction management, engineering, or a comparable blend of education and experience.
• Proven track record on large-scale commercial projects.
• Solid understanding of construction drawings, specifications, and project requirements.
• Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate complex issues clearly to management, clients, subcontractors, and other stakeholders.
• Ability to motivate, lead, build consensus, and organize teams to identify needs, recommend solutions, and implement actions for overall project success.
• Demonstrated ability to plan, organize, and prioritize work in a fast-paced environment.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Familiarity with construction management or takeoff software such as Bluebeam, Procore, ProEst, or equivalent.
• A valid driver's license is required.
