Job Description You will be responsible for setting up the dining area and trays for meal services, adhering to food safety guidelines, and following dietary restrictions based on residents' needs. Assist cook/supervisor with food preparation and service using specific procedures, following guidelines and regulations. Deliver residents’ meal carts, and set and clean assigned dining area(s) to serve residents. Accurately record temperatures on refrigerators; clean and stock as needed. Wash and store dishes; adhere to overall sanitation and maintenance of the kitchen. Be knowledgeable of Federal, State, and Community rules, regulations, policies and procedures. Act in conformance with all facility and departmental policies and procedures including Human Resources, Code of Ethics and Business Conduct, Health and Safety regulations, Compliance requirements, Patient Rights, Confidentiality and HIPAA, and accrediting agency standards. Attend department meetings as required. Demonstrate accountability to accept responsibility for personal and professional growth and any required certifications or licenses, if applicable. Complete mandatory training and competencies annually. This is an hourly position. Expected hours include days, evenings, some weekends, and some holidays.
