The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and overseeing project teams that develop advanced optical test solutions for the Silicon Photonics market. This role requires a blend of technical expertise, leadership skills, and project management acumen to ensure successful project delivery and customer satisfaction. Lead and manage projects involving the design, development, and deployment of optical test systemsCollaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, systems engineering, design engineering, and operations to ensure project milestones are metDevelop project plans, timelines, and budgets, and monitor progress against these metrics. Identify and mitigate risks and challenges throughout the project lifecycleCommunicate project status, updates, and issues to stakeholders, senior management, and customersProvide technical guidance and support to team members and clientsManage project documentation, including specifications, design documents, test plans, and reportsFoster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within the project teamAll About YouWe seek individuals who share our passion and determination. If you’re ready to join us in this mission, take a closer look at the minimum criteria for the position.Bachelor’s degree in Optical Engineering, Physics, Electrical Engineering or related discipline; master’s degree is preferred; certifications in optical engineering are a plus5+ years experience in optical systems design and project managementCertification in Project Management (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2) is preferred. Proven track record of successfully managing complex projects from inception to completionStrong understanding of optical principles, systems, and technologies Proficiency in project management tools and software (e.g., Primavera, Microsoft Project)Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environmentStrong problem-solving and analytical skills. Compensation:The base salary range for this role is $140,500-$224,800. This range is a good faith estimate, and the amount of base salary will correspond with experience and skill set.
