Acute Rehabilitation Registered Nurse (RN)

Join our interdisciplinary team dedicated to providing exceptional care to a diverse range of patients. This role involves working closely with individuals experiencing conditions such as stroke, brain injury, spinal cord injury, trauma, orthopedic issues, neuro challenges, oncology, pediatric needs, solid organ transplant, heart failure, and other medically complex cases.

Job Responsibilities:

• Deliver comprehensive nursing care to patients in acute rehabilitation settings.
• Provide clinical and emotional support to patients and their families as they work towards regaining independence.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to create and implement effective care plans.
• Monitor patient progress and adjust care strategies accordingly.
• Educate patients and families about their treatment and rehabilitation processes.

Schedule:

This position requires 36 hours per week with various shift options, including day, evening, and night shifts, as well as holiday and weekend availability as per unit policy.

Qualifications:

• 2 years of Med Surg experience required.
• Current New York State RN License (NYS RN) required.
• AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• Telemetry experience is required.
• Recent pediatric experience is preferred.
