MRI Technologist - Travel Job

Jackson HealthPros is thrilled to welcome an experienced MRI Tech to our team to accurately interpret a physician's scanning instructions, prepare and position patients for MRI procedures, and expertly operate MRI scanners to create diagnostic images.

Minimum Requirements:

• Current American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification
• MRI advanced level certification and state licensure
• 2 years' experience as an MRI Tech
• BLS certification
• ARRT (R)-MR or ARMRIT
• Experience with MRI procedures including Head/Neck, Abdomen, Pelvis, Spine, Extremities, and MRAs
• Experience with GE Artist 1.5T MRI equipment
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-acuity hospital environment

Assignment Details:

• Standard hours per week: 40
• Shift times may include 12-hour, 10-hour, or 8-hour shifts
• Weekend rotation varies based on departmental needs
• Voluntary on-call requirement
• Floating required throughout the hospital, including different areas of the Radiology department
• Patient population includes inpatient and outpatient adults, with occasional pediatric outpatients and emergency department patients
• Orientation includes one 8-hour hospital orientation and 2-3 unit shifts
