Urology Physician

Locums - York, Pennsylvania, Urology Opening (IMLC Accepted)

Expected Duration: 13 weeks Coverage Needed: Ongoing full weeks for clinic and/or call

Coverage Dates & Shifts:

24-Hour Call Coverage:

• 9/14/26 at 7:00 a.m. - 9/21/26 at 7:00 a.m.
• 10/19/26 at 7:00 a.m. - 10/26/26 at 7:00 a.m.
• 11/16/26 at 7:00 a.m. - 11/23/26 at 7:00 a.m.
• 11/30/26 at 7:00 a.m. - 12/7/26 at 7:00 a.m.
• 12/28/26 at 7:00 a.m. - 1/1/27 at 7:00 a.m.

Clinic Coverage:

• 11/27/26: 8:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m.
• Monday-Friday clinic coverage as needed
• 8-hour clinic days with a 1-hour lunch

Coverage & Setting:

• Practice Setting: Clinic and Hospital
• Adult patients 18+; pediatric emergency torsion may occasionally present during call
• Approximately 24-28 patients per clinic day
• 16 operating rooms
• Supervision of new NPs/PAs required

Clinical Scope & Procedures:

• Cystoscopy, ureteroscopy, lithotripsy, prostate procedures, vasectomy, penile plication, and orchiopexy
• Vasectomy reversal and penile implants may be performed but are not routine
• Robotic surgery available if part of the provider's practice; not required
• Rare pediatric circumcision support may be needed while on call

Support & Systems:

• Clinic support: 4 MAs, 1 CSA, and 1 RN
• EMR: Epic
• Cystoscope, towers, and injection equipment available

Requirements:

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Urology - Required
• Active Pennsylvania license or IMLC LOQ
• DEA - Required
• Minimum 1 year of experience - Required
