Employee Dining Room Attendant - The Little Nell - WinterThe Employee Dining Room Attendant will play a crucial part in ensuring a welcoming and efficient dining experience for our internal guests. This role supports the Employee Dining Room "EDR" ensuring a clean, organized, and well-stocked environment that meets food safety and service standards. This position reports to the Employee Dining Room Chef.Job Posting Deadline: Applications for this position will be accepted until October 25, 2026.Essential Job Functions/Key Job Responsibilities:Set up and maintain the salad bars and hot-holding food service stationsPrep, stock, and replenish salad bar items and dry-stock food products throughout service periodsTransport prepared food items from the kitchen to designated serviced areasStock and maintain plate ware, utensils, glassware, and service utensilsTransport clean and dirty dishware/service ware between service areas and dish stationMaintain, clean and sanitize the coffee machine, including refilling, deep cleaning and surface cleaningMaintain, clean, and sanitize the fountain beverage machine, including nozzles, ice unit, and syrup componentsClean, sanitize, sweep, mop, wipe and organize both service and prep areas throughout the shiftEnsure all food items are properly labeled and dated, including allergy notationCool down food at end-of-service, then wrap, label, and store items appropriately following safety guidelinesAssist the EDR Chef and cooks with food preparation tasks as neededReport any malfunctioning equipment directly to the EDR ChefOther duties as assignedEducation & Experience Requirements:High school diploma or equivalent1 year of food preparation experience preferredServSafe or similar food safety course certification preferredKnowledge, Skills & Abilities:Proficient written and verbal communication English skills, Spanish a plusExperience in guest facing rolesKnowledge of a variety of cooking techniques to include baking, broiling, grilling, sauté, roasting, blanching and moreKnowledge of food handling, safety and other restaurant guidelinesKnowledge of simple sauce and dressingExcellent time management skillsAbility to work under stressful circumstancesAbility to quickly adapt to changes in processes, customer flow, environments, and tasksAbility to engage with customers in a positive and helpful mannerAbility to work in collaboration with others to achieve team goalsWork Environment & Physical Demands:Ability to reach, crouch, kneel, stand, walk or be on your feet for extended periods of timeRegularly work in wet, hot and humid conditions for extended periods of time and may be required to walk on slippery and uneven surfacesMust be able to occasionally lift, push or pull up to 50 lbs. individually or with assistance (weight limits can vary according to position, but no more than 50)Job Benefits:Paid Time Off ProgramsPaid Leave ProgramsEmployee Ski Pass and Dependent Ski PassesOther company perksAspen One is an equal opportunity employer (Minority/Female/Disabled/Veteran).
