Network Engineer

*Overview* Our client is seeking an experienced *Network Engineer* to join their growing IT organization. This role will play a key part in strengthening and modernizing network infrastructure across multiple locations.
*About the Team* Historically, this client has operated with a lean engineering team made up of "jack-of-all-trades" professionals. As the organization evolves, they are investing in building a more specialized team structure, with dedicated expertise across *Infrastructure* and *Security* functions.
*Position Details* This is a *hands-on, on-site role* requiring candidates to be local, as the position involves physical support and work across multiple facilities.
*Key Responsibilities*
* Design, implement, and maintain network infrastructure
* Manage and support routers, switches, and LAN/WAN environments
* Troubleshoot network performance and connectivity issues
* Support network security initiatives, including Cisco ISE
* Collaborate with infrastructure and security teams on ongoing improvements
*Required Skills & Experience*
* Strong background in *network engineering*
* *Hands-on experience with Cisco routers and switches*
* *Expertise in LAN/WAN environments*
* *Experience with Cisco ISE*
* *CCNP certification* (preferred or equivalent experience)
*Nice to Have*
* Experience with *F5 load balancers*
*Experience Level*
* Senior / Expert-level network engineering experience required
*Job Type & Location*This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Kenosha, WI.
*Pay and Benefits*The pay range for this position is $55.00 - $65.00/hr.
