Reviews requisitions to ensure completeness verifying patient name, diagnosis, description of requested exam, etc.; adjusts equipment and selects appropriate technical factors to produce proper radiographic exposure; utilizes standard positioning techniques to obtain an optimal diagnostic image. Selects appropriate protocol for each CT scan procedure; ensures proper levels of density and contrast are utilized to obtain and optimal quality image. Performs scanning procedures of various organs to localize site of pathological process. Complete examination in a timely manner, orders IV and oral contrast in powerchart. Documents administration of contrast and scans paperwork into Cerner. Perform exam completion, complete screenings/consents, and paper scanning in a timely manner. In addition, Radiology may float to an affiliate hospital nearby Copy of Certifications Return staff must be gone for at least 1 year and will be reviewed case by case Separation Policy : LBH- Sinai Hospital - does not allow travelers to work on assignment for more than 365 days, regardless of time off between contracts. A separation period of at least six months is required to return to this facility as a traveler.
