We are currently seeking a Pediatric Hospitalist to join our team in ALABAMA. This locum tenens position offers an exciting opportunity to provide comprehensive care to pediatric patients in a hospital setting. Ideal candidates will be board-certified with previous experience in pediatric hospital medicine.
Job ResponsibilitiesAs a Pediatric Hospitalist, your responsibilities will include:
- Providing patient care on the nursery and pediatric floors
- Conducting routine and emergency procedures as required
- Serving as the primary physician on duty, with one physician on at a time
- Documenting patient encounters accurately using the EMR systems Medimobile and Cerner
- Collaborating with medical students and occasionally family medicine residents
To be considered for this position, you must meet the following qualifications:
- Board Certification in Pediatrics - REQUIRED
- Experience as a Pediatrician in a hospital setting - REQUIRED
- Active Alabama License and DEA - REQUIRED
- Clean Background - REQUIRED
- Certifications: BLS, NRP, PALS - REQUIRED
- Compact License accepted
