We are seeking a skilled and collaborative Sr. Scrum Master to join our team and lead agile delivery for one or more cross‑functional teams supporting our Commercial Services business line. In this role, you will be responsible for facilitating Scrum ceremonies, removing blockers, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement, ownership, and transparency. You’ll work closely with program management, product owners, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure timely and high-quality delivery of business outcomes. This role is situated in a center of excellence structure within the Verra Mobility Program Management Office. Responsibilities Serve as Scrum Master for multiple agile teams, influencing successful delivery of large impact and/or cross‑functional initiatives. CS enterprise release management and sprint delivery metrics. Facilitate key ceremonies: sprint planning, daily stand‑ups, backlog refinement, reviews, and retrospectives. Help teams continuously improve by identifying and addressing process inefficiencies; serve as the Lean‑Agile champion and change agent to their aligned program or value stream. Protect the team from distractions and ensure a healthy, productive environment. Collaborate with Product Owners on backlog management and priority alignment. Track and report on delivery metrics (velocity, burndown, etc.) to help teams optimize performance. Remove roadblocks and serve as a point of escalation for delivery challenges. Coordinate with other Scrum Masters and stakeholders to ensure alignment across teams. Subject matter expert for agile/lean/scrum practices. Apply and implement effective scaling methodologies, processes, and tools. Define, create, and manage agile performance metrics across the portfolio for the organization through dashboards, reports, etc. Keep abreast and share agile/scrum best practices. Educate, train, and share with organizations, documenting best practices and implementing standard work. Qualifications Certified Scrum Master with at least 8+ years of hands‑on experience. Hands‑on experience in Azure DevOps, including advanced dashboard and metric capabilities. Proven experience in setting up and operating in scaled and distributed environments. Excellent communication skills with proven ability to interact with both clients and application end‑users, internal and external stakeholders. Proven experience in operating in an environment that supports the combination of project management, product management, and DevOps. Proven experience in creating high‑performing agile teams. Experience succeeding in leading Agile transformations, knowledge in SAFe. Experience operating within or supporting a product operating model framework of delivery.
