Crane OperatorHCS Construction has an IMMEDIATE need for experienced Crane Operators for in the Alcoa, TN area! The Crane Operator will be responsible for operating the mobile crane and move materials to various locations in a safe and effective manner. We're looking for reliable and hard-working individuals that take pride in their work.Responsibilities:The crane operator's primary function is to operate the crane safely and effectivelyThey will perform daily maintenance checks and report any mechanical or safety issues to a supervisorOperate mobile crane and move materials to various locations in a safe and effective mannerInspect, rig, and ensure that rigging applications are configured in accordance with the load chart and manufacturer guidelinesInspect, clean, and perform operator level maintenance on equipment in accordance with standardsClosely interact with the supervisor for movement of materials and equipmentPerform daily safety checks to ensure equipment is in safe operating conditionFollow related safety regulations, contract requirements, company policies, and operating proceduresComplete necessary documentation, reporting, and limited office dutiesThorough understanding of crane operation characteristics, controls, emergency skills, response to fire, power line contact, tipping, malfunction characteristicsDemonstrate basic abilities in reading, writing, arithmetic skills and load chart usageEffectively coordinate daily activities with supervisorsPerform other duties as assignedRequirements:Valid driver's licensePre-Employment ScreeningRelevant Experience 5+ yearsCurrent NCCCO Certification
