Operating Room Registered Nurse (OR) travel assignment in Dakota Dunes, SD. Start date 08/17/2026 for a 13-week contract. Shift is 4x10-hour days (07:00–17:30). Responsibilities
- Assess, plan, and implement direct perioperative nursing care for assigned patients per shift
- Provide intraoperative and immediate postoperative nursing care, monitor patient status, and manage equipment safely
- Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and the perioperative team to plan and execute procedures
- Supervise on-shift staff, delegate tasks appropriately, and ensure competency and safe practice
- Manage supplies, equipment, and infection control; ensure accurate documentation and effective handoffs
- Support leadership to maintain high-quality, safe nursing care and appropriate resource management

Requirements
- Active RN license in South Dakota (or eligibility to practice in SD)
- Current BLS certification
- Operating room nursing experience preferred; strong clinical judgment and teamwork
- Education: Associate degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited program
- Ability to work in a fast-paced OR environment and to supervise on-shift personnel
- Availability to work 4x10-hour shifts (07:00–17:30) in a perioperative setting
