Registered Nurse (RN) - Outpatient Dialysis

Location: South Burlington, VT

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule: Must be flexible with schedule - will work 8, 9, 10, or 12-hour shifts as needed. Saturday requirements included, with no call required. Floating to St. Albans and Berlin is necessary.

Job Description: The Registered Nurse (RN) will provide care for outpatient dialysis patients, primarily focusing on individuals with chronic renal conditions. The role requires strong clinical skills and the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver nursing care to chronic renal patients in an outpatient setting.
• Administer medications and monitor patient progress.
• Coordinate care with multidisciplinary teams and support staff.
• Document patient care accurately in the electronic medical record (EMR) system.
• Participate in patient education and support initiatives.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• AHA BLS certification is required.
• A minimum of 2 years of nursing experience is required.
• At least 1 year of outpatient dialysis experience is mandatory.
• EPIC experience within the past 2 years is non-negotiable.
• Active RN license in the state of practice.
