Job Details Position Type: Substitute/ Substitute Teacher Date Posted: 6/5/2026 Location: Glendive Public Schools Date Available: 2026-2027 School Year Glendive Public Schools is looking for dependable Substitute Custodians to help keep our school clean, safe, and welcoming whenever regular staff are unavailable. What You'll Do: Clean classrooms, restrooms, and common areas Sweep, mop, vacuum, and maintain floors Empty trash and restock supplies Set up and take down spaces, furniture, and equipment for school activities and events Help maintain school grounds and outdoor areas Respond to spills and unexpected clean-up needs Secure the building at the end of shifts Follow established cleaning and safety procedures What We're Looking For: Reliable and flexible with scheduling Able to work independently and follow directions Good attention to detail and time management Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and stay active throughout shifts Basic knowledge of cleaning methods (experience a plus, but not required) Ability to complete required pre-employment screenings, including a custodial physical Positive attitude and commitment to maintaining a clean and safe learning environment Why Join Us?
