Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in nursing, particularly in labor and delivery, postpartum care, and medical/surgical nursing. This position requires the ability to provide high-quality patient care while supporting maternal-newborn education and teaching.

Required Qualifications

• 1 year of recent (within the last 3 years) full-time equivalent experience
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program
• Registered Nurse License in the applicable state
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Advanced Neonatal Resuscitation Program (ANRP) certification
• Demonstrated ability to perform electronic fetal monitoring
• Demonstrated IV skills and ability to perform lab draws
• Knowledge of high-risk medication administration (Magnesium, Oxytocin, Insulin)
• Ability to perform urine point of care testing
• Knowledge of capillary blood glucose testing and IStat
• Ability to perform adult cardiac monitoring
• Knowledge of newborn monitors including pulse oximetry and cardiac monitoring
• Ability to perform heel sticks/venipuncture on newborns
• Knowledge of newborn medication including IV administration and maintenance
• Familiarity with bili-blankets/lights and radiant warmers
• Ability to support gynecological teaching and post-operative bladder training
• Knowledge to support maternal-newborn teaching

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in nursing or a related field
• Minimum of three (3) years of labor and delivery experience
• Minimum of three (3) years of postpartum experience
• Minimum of one (1) year of medical/surgical nursing experience
