Volt is immediately hiring for a Forklift Operator / PIV Operator in Athens, GA.

As a Forklift Operator / PIV Operator, you will:

• Safely operate powered industrial vehicles, including forklifts, reach trucks, order pickers, and tuggers.
• Move raw materials, components, pallets, and finished products throughout the warehouse and production areas.
• Load and unload trucks, trailers, and staging locations.
• Utilize handheld scanners and warehouse technology to track inventory and material movements.
• Complete inventory transactions accurately and maintain required documentation.
• Assist with warehouse and production-related activities as needed.

This is a full time opportunity.

Schedule: 1st Shift, Monday - Thursday, 5:00 AM to 3:30 PM

Overtime: May be required on Fridays and/or Saturdays

The ideal candidate will have:

• Previous forklift, PIV, warehouse, or material handling experience.
• Ability to safely operate warehouse equipment or willingness to complete training.
• Experience using RF scanners, handheld devices, or warehouse management systems.
• Prior experience operating reach trucks, order pickers, or other powered industrial vehicles.
• Manufacturing or distribution center experience.
• Familiarity with inventory control processes and material movement procedures.
• Experience supporting production operations in a warehouse environment.

Pay Rate: $16.00 - $17.00 per hour

Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
