This includes Manufacturing and Supply Chain support across all Blue Origin facilities.As part of a hardworking team of specialists, technicians, and engineers, you will develop and execute commercial quality processes for the design, test and manufacture of launch vehicles, spacecraft, and related technologies. Passion for our mission and vision is required!Responsibilities include but are not limited to:Lead vehicle acceptance reviews and ensure adherence to and health of acceptance processNew Product Introduction - introduce new research products into the production value streamParticipate in engineering design reviews and make recommendations to improve the quality and manufacturability of new designsMeasure, analyze, and improve quality system performance consistent with organization quality goalsEstablish, implement, maintain, and enforce quality system processes that support products in development and production environmentsReview and approve manufacturing build documents including work orders and nonconformance recordsPerform periodic audits of the application of our quality system in accordance with AS9100Recommend and improve initiatives and/or changes that will improve product and system qualityProvide quality assurance domain expertise to inspection, manufacturing and testCollaborate with internal and external customers on quality related concerns; develop and present training materials to build quality awarenessMinimum Qualifications:Minimum of a B.S. in engineering/science or American Society of Quality, Certified Quality Engineer certification or equivalent experience (3+ years as a quality engineer)6+ years' industry experience with at least 2 years in a quality engineer roleQuality experience in research, development and production environments. Aerospace, space launch, or military or commercial aviation preferredKnowledge of AS9100 or ISO9000 Quality Management System and/or related quality systems and programsExperience with Root Cause Corrective Actions, Process Improvements, and/or KaizensAbility to earn trust, maintain positive and professional relationships, and contribute to a culture of inclusionMust be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum.Preferred Qualifications:Quality assurance experience in rocket engine production environmentExperience with GD&T fundamentalsQMS audit experience and quality performance measurement analysis capabilitiesSix Sigma Green, Black Belt, or comparable certificationBase Pay Range for:WA applicants is $112,059.00 - $156,882.60Other site ranges may differCulture StatementDon't meet all desired requirements?
