Manufacturing Technician, Mon-Fri, 2 pm to 10:30 pm

Job Title: Manufacturing Technician (Mon‑Fri, 2pm to 10:30pm) Job Description Our Bedford, MA site is hiring a Manufacturing Technician for the 2nd shift (2:00PM to 10:30PM) to join our ESC Operations team. This hands‑on role involves assembly, operating HiVac metal sputtering (PVD) and PECVD equipment, as well as wet etch operations used in the manufacturing of EChucks and other coated products. The role also requires using metrology equipment such as microscopes to monitor product quality. Ideal candidates should have strong attention to detail, be comfortable working in a clean room or controlled environment, and be willing to cross‑train in multiple areas to support changing business needs. Responsibilities Follow safety best practices and always wear PPE on the production floor. Maintain a clean work environment following all Entegris 6S activities. Follow production priorities and perform tasks according to those priorities. Perform confirmations using SAP for work done and enter inspection and other production data in CamLine. Actively participate in shift pass‑downs for communication regarding safety, quality, and production priorities. Follow work instructions and fill out work orders and other documentation as required. Perform part assembly and wet‑etch operations. Operate vacuum and other processing equipment. Set up (fixture) and de‑fixture parts for vacuum and processing equipment. Inspect parts visually and with metrology tools such as automated microscopes according to quality procedures. Perform periodic tool refresh and basic equipment maintenance tasks per run schedules. Clean fixtures and parts as needed. Update pass‑down notes to ensure following as required to complete the job successfully. Provide feedback to engineers on process improvements when applicable. Adhere to and promote Entegris PACE values. Perform overtime when required. Qualifications High School Diploma or equivalent (GED). Minimum of 1year manufacturing experience (machine operation, a plus). Able to work the 2nd shift and overtime, including weekends when needed. Able to work around chemicals (including but not limited to IPA, acetone, HCL). Fluency in English for training purposes. Able to lift 40lbs and stand for almost the entire shift. Ability to work in a cleanroom. Computer skills (SAP/CamLine a plus). Flexibility to be trained and cross‑trained in other departments. Outstanding Candidates Will Have Machine operation experience. Able to train on the 1st or 2nd shift for three months. Enthusiastic learner and continuous improvement mindset.
