Regional Director of NursingTitle: Regional Director of NursingLocation: Queens, NYWe are collaborating with a very stable and established Skilled Nursing Home that is seeking an experienced and professional Regional Director of Nursing (for direct-hire) to be a part of their leadership team. The Regional Director will support six Skilled Nursing Homes within Brooklyn, Far Rockaway and Hempstead, NY. The successful candidate will have prior experience as a Director of Nursing in Skilled Nursing Homes. The Regional Director of Nursing should have demonstrated success in staff leadership and development; quality care improvement programs, strategic planning, and clinical program development and implementation. The Regional Director of Nursing should have a solid understanding of clinical operations in Skilled Nursing Homes.The salary for this position is dependent on experience and qualifications. This is a great opportunity to be a part of the senior management team where your leadership and organizational skills will directly affect profitability and be recognized.Responsibilities:The Regional Director of Nursing is responsible for the overall health and wellness of the patient populationManages the nursing clinical operations and oversees the quality of clinical services for each facility.Oversight and monitoring of best practices and Standards of Care outcomes, safety, and risk managementEnsures compliance with all State, Federal, and corporate regulations, policies and proceduresSupports the Directors (DON) and ADONs for the region. Assists in hiring, training, and developmentAssist with budgeting and monitoring of the ongoing financial health of the facilities.Monitor Survey preparedness.Monitor Quality Indicators and assist with QAPI plans.Requirements/Skills:Current NY RN license4 - 5 years of experience as a DON within Skilled Nursing HomesRegional experience preferred.Direct management or supervisory experience is required. Prior experience with training and establishing care plans.Strong interpersonal skills; able to mentor and deal effectively with diverse cultures, skill sets and personalities.Highly organized with a proven ability to prioritize workloads, and manage several projects at one time.Ability to Travel to sites (within a 8-20 mile radius of each other)
