TravelNurseSource is working with All Medical Personnel to find a qualified Dialysis RN in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, 33301!

RN - Dialysis (Travel) – Florida

Overview:

This role offers an excellent opportunity for licensed nurses with dialysis experience to provide essential care to pediatric and adult patients with kidney disease. Qualifications:

• 1-2 years of previous dialysis experience preferred
• BSN degree or higher
• Active state nursing license
• Active BLS certification
• Demonstrate professionalism when interacting with patients, families, physicians, and staff
• Knowledge of dialysis procedures and patient care
• Ability to monitor vital signs, initiate and terminate dialysis treatments, and perform physical assessments
• Experience with dialysis machines, including AK98 HD Machine, and familiarity with AmeriWater & Centurion R.O.
• Knowledge of Phoenix system preferred
• Flexibility to work 13-15 hour shifts, with start times at 8am, 12pm, 2pm, 7pm, or 10pm
• Availability for weekend coverage; Sundays are on-call

Schedule and Contract:

• Shifts are typically 3 days a week, with flexible hours as needed
• Start dates are based on assignment needs and candidate availability

This role requires excellent assessment skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes. You will be responsible for providing dialysis therapy, formulating dialysis plans per physician orders, and instructing patients on pre- and post-dialysis care. Emergency communication with supervisors and medical staff is essential.
