Want to work with highly motivated individuals on high-performance teams? Join WWT today! We are looking for an Associate Buyer (Procurement support) representative to working to help support our Global Order Operations/Procurement team out of our corporate office in St. Louis, Mo.

A Brief Overview

The Associate Buyer position resides within the Global Order Operations team and interacts directly with Inside Sales, Buyers, and authorized suppliers. The Associate Buyer provides support in a variety of ways to ensure Procurement delivers effective, efficient, and high quality service. This role is expected to develop and maintain strong business relationships with both internal and external customers. This involves working closely with suppliers to develop business relationships that help facilitate a more streamlined approach to sourcing while ensuring high levels of service are maintained.

Job Responsibilities

• Status and update open purchase order lines

• Resolves mostly routine and some non-routine tasks

• Manage, Analyze and Execute daily reports

• Develop and cultivate business relationships with vendors

• Maintain Procurement Support KPI's

• Nonconformance Resolution

• Facilitate RTV functional tasks

• Obtain vendor credits and process customer credits to balance financial transactions

QUALIFICATIONS:

Education Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree Related Field preferred

Work Experience

A minimum of 1 year progressive experience in a related field preferred

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Core functional/technical skills required include: Multi tasking & prioritization; operational excellence; relationship management; attention to detail; troubleshooting; systems thinking

• Additional functional/technical skills required include: Data analysis; business insight

• Customer service skills

• Utilizes resources to complete tasks; tracks own efficiency using reports and tools

• Basic familiarity with basic understanding of Supply/Demand

• Basic ability to understand and manipulate data from a variety of sources

• Experience with Microsoft products (Excel, Word, Outlook) preferred

• Excellent oral and written communication skills required

• Accurately keeps track of details and deliverables

• This position is required to work in a fast-paced environment with a focus on doing whatever it takes to get the job done and deliver customer delight

• The nature of the role requires an ability to deliver high quality, thorough and accurate work on deadlines through successful navigation of shifting customer requirements and competing organizational demands

Compensation/ Benefits

Certain states and localities require employers to post a reasonable estimate of salary range. A reasonable estimate of the current base salary range for this position is $43,600-$54,500 a year. Actual salary will be based on a variety of factors, including shift, location, experience, skill set, performance, licensure and certification, and business needs. The range for this position in other geographic locations may differ. Certain positions may also be eligible for variable incentive compensation, such as bonuses or commissions, that is not included in the base salary.
