Location: Austin, TX (Onsite – Dessau Area)
Shift: 2nd Shift (4:00 PM – 2:00 AM, Monday–Thursday, 4/10 Schedule)
Duration: Contract
US Citizenship Required | No Security Clearance Required
Job Description
We are hiring Electronic Assemblers with strong hand soldering experience to assemble, inspect, and rework electronic and electromechanical assemblies in a clean room manufacturing environment. Candidates should be comfortable reading work instructions, schematics, and drawings while ensuring high-quality production standards.
Requirements
- 2+ years of electronics assembly or trade school experience.
- Strong Hand Soldering and Rework experience.
- Experience with IPC Class 3 , IPC-A-610 , and J-STD-001 standards preferred.
- Experience with AOI (Automated Optical Inspection) , SMT (Surface Mount Technology/Pick & Place) , connector installation, epoxy/tack bond, selective soldering, or wave soldering is a plus.
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and work instructions.
- Basic computer skills (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a team environment.
