Key Responsibilities of the RN - ICU

• Manage critically ill patients with various conditions, including sepsis, COPD, CHF, and acute cardiac issues.
• Perform stroke assessments and manage cardiac rhythm interpretations.
• Administer and manage critical care drips, including cardiac drips and medication titration.
• Coordinate ventilator care and support with RT assistance.
• Perform chest tube care, manage central venous pressure lines, and conduct wound care.
• Provide NGT placement, manage drainage tubes, and operate PCA pumps.

Requirements of the RN - ICU

• BLS, ACLS, NIHSS certifications
• 18 months to 2 years of ICU RN experience
• First-time travelers accepted
