Supervising Senior Accountant / Audit Manager - Alabama CPA A well-established, nationally recognized CPA and advisory firm is seeking a Supervising Senior Accountant to join its growing audit and assurance practice. This role is based in Birmingham, AL, with additional firm locations across the Southeast. Key Responsibilities: Execute audit and assurance engagement activities in a manner that meets client expectations and firm quality standards Communicate with Directors and Managers throughout all phases of engagements, including planning, scheduling, and client interactions Manage workload with a sense of urgency to meet both internal and client deadlines accurately and diligently Contribute to a collaborative, fast-paced environment where increased responsibility is both offered and expected as you grow with the firm Required Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field from an accredited college or university Active CPA license required 5–7 years of public accounting experience Strong organizational and time management skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills Strong analytical abilities, good judgment, and professional skepticism Ability to work effectively with colleagues, staff, and clients Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and accounting software This is a strong opportunity for an experienced audit professional looking to step into a leadership role within a growing practice at a firm that genuinely invests in its people.
