We are seeking an experienced Neurohospitalist to enrich our group in Glen Burnie, MD. In this role, you will play a pivotal role in acute inpatient management of patients with neurologic disorders. Here's what awaits you:

Engaging Practice Scope:

• 7on/7off schedule
• Perform comprehensive evaluations and assessments of patients with neurologic conditions.
• Routine inpatient consults in the ICU, med floors and Emergency Department
• 46 bed closed ICU
• Onsite vascular neurologist
• Comprehensive stroke program
• EMG and EEG opportunities

Qualifications

• Possess a Medical degree, completion of medical residency.
• Possesses and maintains current Board Certification or Board eligibility in Neurology.
• Possesses and maintains current license to practice medicine in the State of Maryland required or ability to acquire an unrestricted license.
• Possesses and maintains current DEA or similar Narcotics and Controlled Substances Certification required.
• Possesses and maintains, if applicable, appropriate clinical privileges at a minimum of one UMMS affiliated acute care facility.
• Demonstrates meeting minimum CME requirements for licensure and board certification.
• Demonstrates appropriate qualifications and experience to perform the duties required of this position.
• Excellent oral, written, interpersonal, analytical, organization skills are required.

Compensation:

• Pay Range: $375k + requirement of 168 12-hour shifts
• Additional compensation options available for discussion include a $20,000 sign-on bonus, relocation assistance, and a productivity bonus.
