Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Operating Room Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 9 Experience: Minimum 1 year required License: Must have state license in hand to be considered Certifications: ACLS, BCLS Must-Have: - Strong endoscopy procedure experience - Previous travel experience preferred - Previous charge experience is a plus Description: - Position is for Tuesday to Thursday. - Shifts are 4x9 hours, with 8 hours typically spent on procedures. - The final hour will generally involve assisting in the department. - Requires experience in GI Lab, outpatient surgery, and infusion. - Must be knowledgeable with Olympus scopes, ERBE, polyp snares, foreign body equipment, and opioid analgesics. - Must be experienced in colonoscopy, ERCP, EGD, as well as specimen handling and labeling. - Certification in charting system experience is required. - Must be open to discussing time off parameters during the interview. - Patient care is focused on adults, with a daily census of 11. - Endoscopy, surgery, and infusions are key components of this role. - Interdisciplinary support includes physical therapy, respiratory services, and pharmacy.
