Sample Custodian - Eurofins Environment Testing South Central - Midland, TXEurofins Environment Testing is seeking a Sample Custodian to join our team! This position is expected to assist and oversee all the different aspects of shipping, receiving, storing, distributing and logging samples.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Prepare samples from processingAccepts and signs for deliveries.Assists in unloading shipments from delivery truck.Uses dollies, forklifts, and other moving equipment to transport shipments from loading dock and around Sample Receiving area.Opens coolers and inspects contents of shipments. Checks documentation to ensure all samples are accounted for.Distributes samples in different departments as appropriate.Follows strict safety and quality control procedures.Stores, restocks, and shelves samples as necessary.Ensures that work area is clean and organized.Enters records in LIMS systemQualifications:High school diploma or GED is required.Demonstrates strong organizational skills.Pays close attention to detail.Possesses physical strength necessary to lift and move heavy boxes received by the lab.Exhibits ability to use LIMS software competently.Possesses basic math skills.Works well with a team.Communicates clearly and effectively.Demonstrates strong interpersonal skills.Handles issues calmly and politely.Manages time efficiently.Demonstrates solid problem-solving skills.Is capable of operating forklifts and other equipment to move heavy shipments.Demonstrates awareness of safety proceduresThis is a full-time role, Monday to Friday starting at 8:30 am to 5:30 pm with overtime and weekends as needed.Compensation Range: $19-21 / hour.Candidates within a commutable distance to Midland, TX are encouraged to apply.Eurofins Environment Testing (USA) provides a compensation range for informational purposes, the actual base salary may vary based upon, but not limited to, relevant experience and skill set, base salary of internal peers, business sector, and geographic location.As a Eurofins employee, you will become part of a company that has received national recognition as a great place to work.
