These companies hire intentionally, and we connect them with professionals ready for roles that fit.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and maintain IATF 16949 compliant quality management system documentation.Lead and support internal and external IATF 16949 audits.Drive corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) for non-conformances, utilizing problem-solving methodologies like 8D.Facilitate APQP activities, including PPAP submissions and control plan development.Analyze quality data to identify trends, root causes, and areas for continuous improvement.Provide training and guidance on IATF 16949 requirements and quality tools to manufacturing personnel.Recommended QualificationsBachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related technical field.3+ years experience as a Quality Engineer in an automotive manufacturing environment.Strong knowledge and practical application of IATF 16949 standards and core tools (APQP, PPAP, FMEA, MSA, SPC).Certified Internal Auditor for IATF 16949.Proficiency in statistical analysis software (e.g., Minitab) and quality problem-solving methodologies (e.g., 8D, 5 Whys, Ishikawa).Bonus QualificationsExperience with AIAG Core Tools (APQP, PPAP, FMEA, MSA, SPC) beyond basic application.Certified Lead Auditor for IATF 16949 or other relevant quality management systems.Proficiency in statistical software (e.g., Minitab, JMP) for advanced data analysis and problem-solving.Familiarity with Industry 4.0 concepts and their application in quality assurance.Experience in developing and implementing quality strategies for new product launches or technology integrations.Job Titles That Should ApplyIATF Quality Engineer, Automotive Quality Engineer, Supplier Quality Engineer, APQP Engineer, PPAP Engineer, Core Tools Engineer, Quality Systems Engineer, Manufacturing Quality Engineer, Product Quality Engineer, Senior Quality EngineerWhy The Pivot Group NetworkThe Pivot Group Network was founded by manufacturing professionals who've been on both sides of the hiring process.
