Candidates should possess excellent customer service skills and a thorough understanding of physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology to ensure safe and effective treatments.

Responsibilities

• Perform professional massage therapy sessions including deep tissue massage, trigger point therapy, and other modalities tailored to individual patient needs
• Conduct thorough patient assessments to determine appropriate treatment plans
• Educate patients on pain management techniques and occupational health strategies
• Maintain accurate documentation of treatments and patient progress
• Ensure a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for clients
• Stay current with industry best practices and new therapeutic techniques through ongoing education and training
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals as needed to optimize patient outcomes

Skills

• Proven experience in patient service with a focus on customer satisfaction
• Strong knowledge of physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology relevant to massage therapy
• Skilled in deep tissue massage, trigger point therapy, and pain management techniques
• Excellent patient assessment abilities to customize treatments effectively
• Knowledge of occupational health principles for workplace wellness programs
• Previous med spa experience is preferred but not required
• Exceptional communication skills with the ability to educate clients about their health and wellness options
• Ability to work professionally in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
