Job Title Senior / Staff Product Owner (I4.0 Analyst) - Smart Manufacturing & AI (Evergreen) Overview Micron Technology invites you to join its Smart Manufacturing & AI (SMAI) team as a Senior / Staff Product Owner (I4.0 Analyst). In this role you will define, drive, and deliver end-to-end smart manufacturing solutions, leveraging automation, AI, and generative AI (GenAI). Your work will directly support Micron’s domestic manufacturing footprint in Boise and influence the future of U.S. semiconductor manufacturing. Responsibilities Support DRAM technology development, including deployment of existing smart‑manufacturing solutions to technology development and creation of new customized tools/solutions. Work with users to capture and analyze information related to the adoption of apps for Smart Manufacturing. Identify gaps, weaknesses, and inefficiencies in current solutions, and pursue opportunities for AI‑enabled enhancements. Define business solutions and propose projects for implementation using AI and GenAI technologies. Lead projects and activities that coordinate, support, and manage resources from global teams. Use metrics and performance data to discover improvement opportunities, including predictive analytics and intelligent decision support. Provide domain and system expertise, collaborating with data scientists to analyze data and find opportunities in early technology development and yield‑ramp challenges using AI/ML models. Minimum Qualifications Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Science. Minimum five years of experience in Process Integration Engineering or Process Equipment Engineering. Proven experience leading and managing projects, with strong program and project‑management capabilities. Good understanding and experience in early‑stage technology development. Preferred Qualifications Strong domain knowledge of fab processes, with experience in yield improvement activities. Strong passion for Data Science, Artificial Intelligence (AI), and Generative AI (GenAI), and interest in applying these technologies to smart manufacturing and yield improvement. Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills. Self‑motivated with excellent communication, teamwork, and collaboration with other departments.
