Training Coordinator

Location: Mississippi Distribution Center, 8500 Nail Road, Olive Branch, MS 38654. Position Summary The Training Coordinator is responsible for helping to improve the productivity of the organization's employees in accordance with established SOPs. The primary duty of the Training Coordinator is to perform a wide variety of training activities in various functional areas that may consist of facilitation, MHE Driver Certification, maintaining various training trackers, training organization and scheduling, training new trainers, and assisting in path as needed across all of the departments in the operation. The position requires training and administrative experience with a basic understanding of adult education best practices. Essential Functions of Job Plans, organizes, and effectively conducts employee training on various functional skill areas Maintains knowledge of new methods and techniques for training, and training requirements applicable to the organization and/or industry Identifies problems and opportunities such as operational changes that training could improve Conducts or facilitates required and recommended training sessions Facilitates applicable portions of New Hire Orientation Maintains records of successful completion of training Assists in creating an annual Training Calendar Leads MHE training and recertification, as well as other safety trainings Evaluates performance of current trainers Conducts training audits to evaluate training efficacy Performs other duties as assigned Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Ability to work flexible hours Ability to effectively give and receive feedback in a professional and respectful manner Excellent verbal and written communication skills, as well as presentation abilities Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail Strong administrative and data management skills Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines with limited supervision Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills Ability to prioritize tasks and to work independently Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality Willingness to operate MHE and become MHE certified Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite Ability to operate basic office and audiovisual equipment Working Conditions Moderate but varying temperature and humidity in office and warehouse environments Physical Requirements Must be able to stand, sit, squat, lift and/or walk for the duration of the scheduled shift Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs Ability to operate MHE Minimum Qualifications 1 year of applicable training experience What You’ll Get The annual base salary range for this position is $23.50 - $25.15 per hour. The actual base salary offered depends on a variety of factors including qualifications, experience, skills, education, certifications, and geographic location. Individuals employed may also be eligible to earn bonuses.
