Job Title & Location Travel Interventional Radiology Technologist – Cardiac Interventional Radiology Assignment Overview Shift: Days, 10 hours per shift (4x10hrs) Hours: 40 hours per week Start Date: 07/13/2026 Duration: 12 weeks Employment Type: Travel Description American Traveler is hiring an Interventional Radiology Technologist with at least 1 year of experience in an active interventional or EP lab and proficiency in cardiovascular procedures including PTCA, coronary stenting, and pacemaker insertion. Details Work in a hospital‑based Interventional Radiology unit Procedures include PTCA (coronary angioplasty), coronary stenting, intra‑aortic balloon placement, temporary and permanent pacemaker insertion, atherectomy, IVUS, thrombectomy (Pronto device), FFR/pressure wire, and arterial/venous sheath management 4x10‑hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM Weekend coverage required On‑call requirement of approx. 6‑7 days per month, including one weekend per month Floating to different units or facilities may be required at manager's discretion Requirements Minimum 1 year of experience in an active interventional lab such as IR or EP Associate Degree in Applied Sciences required ARRT certification required IEMA licensure required BLS (AHA) required; ACLS (AHA) required if applicable IL license required if applicable – no emergency or pending licensure accepted Full proficiency in cardiovascular procedural functions in the technologist role Additional Information Candidates living within 75 miles of the facility may be considered at a local rate Two professional references required, at least one from a supervisor, manager, or charge RN within the past year All requested time off (RTO) must be submitted at the time of initial consideration and cannot be added afterward Vaccination status must be disclosed at time of consideration Pay & Benefits Pay package is based on 10‑hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax‑free stipend amount to be determined.
