Job Summary:
The Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) Registered Nurse (RN) position is located in Evanston, Illinois. This high-acuity role involves caring for micro preemies, typically 24 weeks and up, some requiring respiratory support or surgical interventions. The position requires dedication to providing exceptional neonatal patient care in a Level III- Level 4 NICU setting.

Job Details:

• Schedule: 12-hour shifts, Days, minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Illinois Licensure, Basic Life Support (BLS), Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP), minimum of 3 years of NICU experience, experience with Level III- Level 4 high acuity neonates, including micro preemies and surgical patients; location requirements for Illinois
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Epic charting system, prior experience in Level III high acuity NICU settings
• Float: May float to other NorthShore facilities. Float assignments will be communicated up to 2 hours prior to the scheduled shift
• Additional Information: This position requires a 12-hour shift schedule, with weekend requirements every other weekend and holidays as needed. Orientation consists of 12 hours of training with 6 hours non-billable.
