MUST BE ABLE TO WORK IN FARGO OFFICE!

Focus: Front-End Web, AI Tools, Marketing Systems & Client Projects
Location: On-Site, Full-Time — Fargo, ND
Company: Spotlight Media
Pay: $65,000 – $75,000/year base salary, based on experience

Note: We are going to grow this division quickly so there is major growth potential

“I’ve been using Replit, Claude, and many other AI tools for over a year now, and I can honestly say we are at a point where these tools are a daily need for us and our clients.

I’m looking for someone to work directly with me to build different products, tools, websites, apps, designs, sales proposals, and client solutions using these platforms. This person needs to be entrepreneurial, highly curious, and constantly keeping up with the latest AI trends and updates.

I want someone who has spent serious time inside these tools. Not just someone who has played around with them once or twice, but someone who understands the little nuances it takes to actually ship something useful.

On any given day, we could be using Replit, Claude, or other AI tools to design slide decks, build landing pages for clients, create full website redesigns, develop mini apps that work better than our spreadsheets, connect our CRM and other platforms into smarter dashboards, improve internal systems, or help clients find practical AI-powered solutions.

We’re also using these tools for AI SEO, content strategy, sales enablement, automation, reporting, and honestly, the list keeps growing fast.

Whoever joins us in this role will work closely with me as we turn up the volume on integrating AI into our business and helping our customers do the same. This is a serious opportunity for someone who wants to build, experiment, move fast, and be part of where marketing, technology, and AI are headed.”

Spotlight Media is a full-suite marketing agency, web agency, advertising agency, and media company based in Fargo, ND.

We help businesses grow through custom websites, digital advertising, branding, content, social media, magazines, SEO, creative campaigns, sales tools, and marketing strategy. Our work spans local, regional, and national clients, and our team is constantly focused on staying ahead of the trends that impact our clients’ businesses.

We’re using tools like Replit, Claude, ChatGPT, Perplexity, Lovable, Cursor, Figma, Canva, WordPress , and other emerging platforms to build websites, landing pages, internal tools, sales proposals, creative assets, client dashboards, mini apps, automations, AI SEO workflows, and more.

Now we need someone who can help us build, finish, improve, and launch more of these projects.

We’re looking for an AI Vibe Coder & Creative Technologist who understands enough code to build and troubleshoot front-end projects, but who also thinks like a marketer, designer, problem-solver, and entrepreneur.

This is not a traditional IT role.
This is not a backend software engineer role.
This is not for someone who only wants to sit in a corner writing complex code all day.

This role is for someone who loves using modern AI tools to build practical, useful, polished things that help our company and our clients move faster.

What You’ll Do

· Build With AI Tools Daily: Use tools like Replit, Claude, ChatGPT, Perplexity, Lovable, Cursor, and other AI platforms to create websites, landing pages, mini apps, prototypes, dashboards, proposal tools, sales systems, and marketing assets.

· Work Directly With the Founder: Collaborate closely with Mike Dragosavich on new ideas, internal tools, client solutions, product concepts, marketing systems, and AI-powered workflows.

· Finish Projects, Not Just Start Them: Take rough ideas, half-built prototypes, early concepts, and “this could be huge” experiments and turn them into polished, usable, professional deliverables.

· Build Front-End Experiences: Create and refine clean, modern front-end experiences with strong attention to layout, mobile responsiveness, user experience, visual quality, and usability.

· Support Website Projects: Assist with WordPress websites, landing pages, full website redesigns, forms, client portals, interactive tools, calculators, intake systems, and other web-based experiences.

· Create Internal Tools: Help Spotlight build better systems for sales, proposals, CRM workflows, reporting, dashboards, content planning, client intake, project management, and marketing operations.

· Support Client Innovation: Help our clients use AI-powered tools, web tools, and interactive experiences to improve their marketing, sales, operations, and customer experience.

· Improve Sales Proposals and Presentations: Use AI and design tools to help create better proposals, slide decks, sales materials, strategy documents, and client-facing presentations.

· Assist With AI SEO and Content Systems: Help us explore and build workflows around AI search, SEO, content strategy, answer engine optimization, structured content, and web visibility.

· Troubleshoot and Improve: Identify what is broken, clunky, slow, confusing, or unfinished — then use your technical and creative skills to fix it.

· Collaborate Across Teams: Work with our web, design, advertising, social media, sales, and content teams to build tools and assets that make everyone better.

· Stay Ahead of AI Trends: Keep up with new AI tools, updates, workflows, product launches, and opportunities — then help us figure out how to use them in the real world.

What We’re Looking For

· AI Tool Power User: Strong hands-on experience with tools like Replit, Claude, ChatGPT, Perplexity, Lovable, Cursor, or similar AI-assisted coding and building platforms.

· Front-End Builder: Comfortable working with HTML, CSS, basic JavaScript, responsive layouts, web interfaces, front-end troubleshooting, and modern website structure.

· Marketing-Minded: You understand the goal is not just to “make something work.” The goal is to help businesses sell, communicate, convert, grow, and look great while doing it.

· Design-Aware: You do not need to be a full-time designer, but you should have a strong eye for clean layouts, spacing, readability, modern UI, and user experience.

· Website Experience: Experience with WordPress, landing pages, website builders, plugins, forms, basic SEO structure, and web project workflows is highly valuable.

· AI-Native Work Style: You are already using AI tools constantly. You test them, push them, compare them, break them, fix them, and know the little tricks that help you actually ship finished work.

· Entrepreneurial Mindset: You are curious, self-driven, resourceful, and excited by new ideas. You do not need someone to hand you a 40-page instruction manual before you can start moving.

· Problem Solver: You can take a messy idea, vague prompt, broken prototype, or unfinished project and figure out how to move it forward.

· Experienced Professional: 5+ years of relevant experience in front-end web work, digital marketing, AI-assisted development, web design, creative technology, marketing technology, or a related field.

· Not Just a Traditional Coder: We are not looking for someone who only wants to build complex backend systems. This role is more about practical building, front-end execution, AI tools, marketing ideas, fast iteration, and finishing useful projects.

· Serious and Reliable: We need someone sharp, focused, organized, and ready to play an important role in where Spotlight is headed.

· In-Office Presence: This role is based in Fargo, ND. We value in-person collaboration, especially for fast-moving creative, marketing, and technical projects.
