Responsibilities

• Assist dentists during examinations and procedures, ensuring patient comfort and safety.
• Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing instruments and ensuring all necessary supplies are available.
• Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) as needed.
• Manage appointment scheduling and patient follow-ups as a dental receptionist when required.
• Educate patients on oral hygiene, post-operative care, and treatment plans.
• Collaborate with the dental team to ensure smooth workflow and high-quality patient care.
• Stay updated on medical terminology, systems, and best practices in dentistry.

Experience

• Previous experience as a Dental Assistant is preferred; familiarity with Dentrix software is a plus.
• Knowledge of prosthodontics and pediatric dentistry is advantageous.
• Understanding of medical documentation processes and compliance with HIPAA standards.
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment while managing multiple tasks efficiently.
• Strong interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with patients and staff.
