Transportation Litigation Attorney

Job Overview A law firm seeks a proactive and highly skilled Transportation Litigation Attorney in Madison, New Jersey. This role involves representing a large international logistics services provider, handling litigation matters within the transportation sector, and understanding applicable regulations. The position offers a flexible, hybrid working arrangement. Duties Manage a litigation caseload under senior attorney supervision. Conduct legal research and analysis on transportation laws and regulations. Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and other legal documents. Attend court hearings, depositions, and mediations. Negotiate settlements and agreements on behalf of clients. Collaborate with colleagues across departments and offices. Draft case analysis reports for client stakeholders. Requirements Admitted to practice in the state of New Jersey. 3‑8 years of general casualty litigation experience. Transportation and logistics regulatory experience preferred. Experience with e‑commerce/gig‑economy legal issues preferred. Deposition and motion practice experience required. Trial experience preferred. Education J.D. from an ABA‑accredited law school. Certifications Admitted to practice law in New Jersey. Skills Superior analytical skills. Strong written and oral communication skills. Sophisticated technical skills.
