Join a traveling Physical Therapist team to provide skilled physical therapy treatment to patients in their homes while experiencing life in Waynesville, NC. This role supports home health field visits across Buncombe and Haywood Counties and requires documentation and coordination consistent with home health standards.

Minimum Requirements

• Doctoral, Master’s, or Bachelor’s degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program approved by the APTA.
• Active North Carolina Physical Therapy license required to start the assignment.
• Home health experience required.
• Experience with home health documentation systems preferred; HCHB and OASIS experience are preferred.
• BLS certification may be required from AHA or ARC.

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior travel physical therapy experience preferred.
• Experience managing a caseload of home health patients and performing field visits across multiple counties.

Assignment Details

• Shift hours: 2000–0400.
• Coverage areas include Buncombe and Haywood Counties.
• Weekly hour guarantee: 40 hours.
• Productivity expectation: 30 points.
• On-call/weekend requirement: negotiable for one Saturday per month.
• Mileage reimbursed between visits from first patient to last patient.
• May be required to float to other local service areas within the coverage counties.
