Behavioral Technician (BT) – School Based Blue Horizons is seeking compassionate, dependable, and professional Behavioral Technicians (BTs) to support students with special needs in local public schools throughout Santa Maria.We welcome applicants from Santa Maria, Orcutt, Guadalupe, Nipomo, Lompoc, Arroyo Grande, and surrounding communities.As a Behavioral Technician, you will work closely with certificated teachers and school staff to provide individualized support to students with behavioral, sensory, emotional, and learning needs. You will help create a safe, structured, and positive environment where students can learn, grow, and succeed.Working with students with special needs can be challenging, but it is also incredibly rewarding. If you are patient, dependable, compassionate, and passionate about making a difference, we'd love to have you join our team. Position DetailsPay Rate: $23.75–$25.75 per hour, based on qualifications and experience Schedule: Monday–Friday, Day Shift, approximately 5.5–6.5 hours per day Employment Type: Full-Time, Long-Term Placement Work Setting: Public School CampusesRequired Certifications: BT Certification and CPI Certification are required for the Behavioral Technician role.AB1172 Certification: Selected applicants must obtain AB1172 Certification.
