Credit Underwriter I-II and Senior

This role supports credit underwriting and monitoring for new and existing clients in partnership with a credit team at Bank of America. Responsibilities Manages a portfolio of clients supporting underwriting and/or monitoring requirements of varying degrees of complexity. Independently works with Relationship Management, Credit, and Risk teammates to understand structuring needs and requirements. Delivers collateral, loan structure, and other analyses to team members to support the loan decision‑making process. Reviews work of junior teammates to provide feedback/coaching and ensures compliance with laws, rules, regulations, and policy procedures. Has credit approval authority for certain credit actions. Leads collateral monitoring, loan structure conversations, and completion of loan documentation with internal/external legal partners. Strong communication and analytical/technical skills, including financial accounting, modeling, and loan structuring. Strong experience monitoring and analyzing changes in transactions and portfolios over time, including identifying trends or issues that may impact credit quality. Strong experience reconciling financial statements and supporting documentation, investigating discrepancies or unusual activity, and ensuring reporting complies with credit agreements. Strong experience communicating directly with borrowers to clarify data and resolve issues, and requesting additional reporting or backup documentation as needed. Desired Qualifications Participate with RM or CO's to negotiate Credit Agreements & loan documents, as needed. Be knowledgeable of the closing process & timeline for all types of loans (e.g., real estate, revolvers). BA/BS degree desired. Compensation & Benefits Shift: 1st shift (United States of America) Hours per week: 40 Pay range: $88,000.00 – $187,500.00 annualized salary, depending on experience, education, and skill set.
