Our client, a national law firm, is seeking a Bankruptcy Paralegal in Dallas, Texas.
- Salary: $80- $100K
- Schedule: For the right candidate, a hybrid schedule of one to two remote days per week may be considered after an initial onboarding period of 90 days.
- Billable Hours: 1200
Qualifications:
- Minimum of six years of litigation experience and a strong background in bankruptcy matters.
- Chapter 7 and Chapter 11 proceedings.
- Strong drafting and legal research skills are essential, along with a thorough understanding of bankruptcy procedures, rules, and filings in both Chapter 7 and Chapter 11 matters.
- Proficiency with legal research platforms and case management systems is expected.
Responsibilities:
- Preparing, reviewing, and filing pleadings and motions in federal bankruptcy courts.
- Assisting with case management and docket tracking; organizing case files and maintaining documentation
- Conducting legal research; and drafting correspondence, discovery materials, and court submissions.
- The paralegal will also interface with clients, court personnel, and opposing counsel while ensuring accuracy and adherence to deadlines.
