Vice President Marketing (United States)

The Vice President of Marketing (VPM) position develops and implements marketing initiatives and strategies to increase occupancy and revenue across the entire Grace Management, Inc. (GMI) portfolio. The VPM utilizes all marketing channels in order to elevate qualified lead generation and brand awareness. The VPM reports to the Senior Vice President of Sales & Marketing (SVPSM) and collaborates closely with the SVPSM as well as GMI partner marketing organizations.

Essential Functions

• Lead the development and implementation of marketing initiatives and strategies to increase occupancy and revenue.
• Utilize contemporary and creative marketing strategies in conjunction with traditional marketing concepts.
• Direct the planning, development, and implementation of compelling marketing campaigns.
• Leverage expertise and innovative thinking to optimize all marketing campaigns, including website enhancements.
• Guide digital marketing strategies to engage with our target audience and drive conversions.
• Enhance social media strategy, monitor and analyze social media performance.
• Collaborate with all disciplines to align marketing initiatives with overall business goals, product roadmaps, and branding.
• Orchestrate public relations strategies with industry publications and local media contacts.
• Utilize competitor pricing, market analysis, and business objectives to establish incentive rates where applicable. Analyze effectiveness and adjust as warranted.
• Evaluate opportunities to adjust market rates for high performing communities outside of standard budget process.
• Establish key performance indicators (KPI’s) to track the effectiveness of marketing strategies and initiatives.
• Analyze KPI’s and Return on Investment (ROI) to optimize strategies and drive continuous improvement.
• Develop and deliver sales enablement resources and training to ensure alignment between marketing and sales efforts.
• Contribute to the development of GMI and community specific marketing budgets, ensuring effective allocation of resources and delivering ROI on marketing expenditures.
• Support marketing transition process for community acquisitions and dispositions.
• Demonstrate a high level of analytical skills, critical thinking, attention to detail, and ability to meet deadlines.
• Foster a collaborative and results-driven culture, promoting innovation and excellence within the team.
• Support the mission, vision, and culture of the organization through positive communication and leadership.
• Maintain resident, associate, and community confidentiality and adhere to Residents Rights.
• Additional tasks and duties as assigned.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or related field.
• Minimum of five years of progressive marketing experience that includes substantial and quantifiable success.
• Demonstrated success in executing marketing strategies in highly competitive markets with proven track record of achieving and exceeding revenue goals.
• Ability to deliver engaging large group, small group, and individual presentations.
• Demonstrate excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Proficient in computer utilization including but not limited to Windows, Office, Word, Excel, Outlook, and CRM database systems.
• Demonstrate a positive attitude and interpersonal skills to work with various people including associates, residents, families, and professionals.
• Promote positive work environment that emphasizes teamwork.
• Respond positively to constructive feedback by listening to supervisor, customers and peers and utilize it to improve performance.
• Ability to travel frequently through out the country with overnight stays.
• Adherence to all GMI Policies and Procedures and Associate Handbook.
• Completion of drug testing and criminal background check upon hire and upon request of supervisor or GMI Human Resources.

Remote, with approximately 30% travel
